Key Responsibilities
- Design and support modern network security frameworks that align with evolving threat landscapes
- Manage firewall policies and zero trust controls using platforms such as Cisco, Palo Alto, and Zscaler
- Monitor and respond to security events using SIEM and SOC tools, contributing to incident detection and resolution
- Analyze packet captures and firewall logs to detect anomalies and potential intrusions
- Implement secure access solutions including VPN, SD-WAN, and SASE/SSE technologies
- Apply network segmentation and least-privilege access models to reduce attack surface
- Support cloud security initiatives involving IAM, secure networking, and native or third-party tools
- Contribute to compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001
- Develop insights from data to guide security improvements and strategic decisions
- Collaborate with teams to understand business objectives and align security efforts accordingly
What You Bring
- Proven experience in network security, including hands-on work with Cisco, Palo Alto, and Zscaler technologies
- Familiarity with secure connectivity solutions like SD-WAN and remote access architectures
- Understanding of SIEM/SOC operations, threat detection, and incident response workflows
- Ability to interpret technical data and translate it into actionable security measures
- Knowledge of cloud security practices, IAM, and enterprise network monitoring via NOC environments
- Basic awareness of ICS/SCADA security and relevant regulatory requirements
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous learning
- Commitment to ethical standards, professional conduct, and maintaining independence
