Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank statement reconciliations.
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings with accurate journal entries and balance sheet reviews.
- Prepare official financial statements and tax submissions compliant with regulations in the Canary Islands and Spain.
- Assist in generating financial reports under US GAAP for stakeholders based in the United States.
- Contribute to budget development, financial forecasting, cash flow tracking, and variance evaluation.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants by supplying necessary documentation and records.
- Enhance internal controls, accounting policies, and procedural guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Deliver on-demand financial insights and reports to support leadership in strategic decision-making.
