Shape the future of a growing platform as the lead engineer in a role that blends deep technical execution with product ownership. You'll be responsible for driving the end-to-end development of a mobile application across iOS and Android, along with its supporting backend systems, at a pivotal stage in the company's evolution.
What You’ll Do
- Use AI-powered development tools, large language models, and modern coding workflows to accelerate feature creation without sacrificing code quality
- Lead the architecture, implementation, and deployment of new features and services across both mobile and backend environments
- Own the technical roadmap, making key decisions that influence scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Translate business vision into technical reality by collaborating directly with leadership to prioritize and deliver impactful functionality
- Continuously refine existing systems to improve stability, user experience, and development efficiency
- Balance frontend and backend responsibilities equally, ensuring seamless integration across the stack
- Establish engineering standards and practices that support long-term growth and team expansion
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience using AI-driven development platforms such as Replit, Cursor, Bolt, Loveable, or Tempolabs for building production-grade applications
- Strong background in prompt engineering applied to software development and feature implementation
- Track record of deploying and maintaining mobile apps on both Android and iOS platforms
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently, solve complex problems, and contribute to strategic direction
- A product-focused mindset with an emphasis on delivering real value to users and the business
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities typical of early-stage ventures
- Passion for technology, active contribution of ideas, and commitment to long-term project success
Preferred Experience
- Early-stage startup experience, especially as a founding or early technical team member
- History of influencing product direction alongside development work
- Interest in evolving into a leadership role with potential equity participation as the company grows
- Familiarity with rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles
