Responsibilities
- Design and implement security architectures for AI and machine learning systems across all stages including development, training, and deployment.
- Protect integrations involving large language models, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and AI-based application programming interfaces.
- Perform threat modeling to identify risks in AI systems and associated data flows.
- Establish secure-by-design principles for features powered by artificial intelligence.
- Detect and counteract AI-specific threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaking, model poisoning, data contamination, adversarial inputs, training data leakage, insecure model storage, and excessive permissions in autonomous agents.
- Build protective mechanisms including content filters, validation rules, and output sanitization controls.
- Set up monitoring systems to detect unusual or malicious behavior in AI models.
- Integrate AI security checks into continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Review machine learning code and infrastructure configurations for security flaws.
- Secure storage systems for trained models and related artifacts.
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to uphold security standards across projects.
- Ensure compliance of AI systems with GDPR and other data privacy laws, as well as financial regulatory requirements.
- Implement safeguards for sensitive data used during model training and inference phases.
- Conduct risk assessments for AI initiatives using established internal methodologies.
- Help develop AI security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
