As an AI Software Engineer specializing in C++, you'll play a key role in training advanced language models to generate high-quality, production-ready code. Your expertise will directly influence how the system learns to assess, revise, and improve code through human-in-the-loop feedback.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and compare AI-generated C++ code snippets, identifying the most effective solution and clearly articulating the reasoning behind your choice
- Refactor and correct code for accuracy, performance, and adherence to best practices
- Provide structured feedback—including ratings, edits, and test outcomes—that feeds directly into the model’s reinforcement learning process
- Help the AI develop the ability to self-evaluate and iteratively enhance its coding suggestions
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years of professional C++ development experience
- Strong ability to detect logical flaws, inefficiencies, and potential security concerns in code
- Exceptional attention to detail and clarity in written explanations
- Comfort reading technical documentation and language specifications
- Proven ability to work independently in asynchronous settings with minimal oversight
- Ability to justify technical decisions with clear, logical reasoning
Nice to Have
- Experience with constraint programming
Work Environment
Fully remote with no geographic restrictions. Work on your own schedule within an asynchronous, low-interruption culture focused on meaningful contributions. No corporate overhead—just direct impact through precise technical feedback.
Compensation
Hourly rate ranges from $30 to $70, based on location and experience level. This is a 1099 independent contractor position and does not include benefits, equity, or employment verification.
Important Note
For applicants in the US: This role is not compatible with F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, or other visa types requiring W-2 employment, employer sponsorship, or guaranteed hours.
