Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring an AI Solution Architect to lead the integration of advanced Artificial Intelligence technologies into our rapidly growing platform. You will research, prototype, and implement AI-driven solutions that unlock new business capabilities and optimize operational efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Research, prototype, and deploy state-of-the-art AI technologies, including large language models, vector databases, and agent frameworks.
- Design, develop, test, and launch production-ready AI features that deliver measurable business value.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to identify and implement high-impact AI use cases.
- Define internal best practices, documentation, and standards for scalable, responsible AI development.
- Lead workshops and mentor engineers to build AI fluency throughout the organization.
- Influence architectural decisions and optimize cost-performance tradeoffs for AI infrastructure at scale.
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record delivering AI-powered features that create real business impact.
- Hands-on experience with leading AI tools such as LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex), vector search systems (FAISS, Pinecone), and agentic systems.
- Strong programming skills in a relevant language (e.g., Python).
- Experience designing and deploying end-to-end AI or machine learning systems.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments with rapid prototyping.
- Passionate about writing clear documentation and mentoring others.
- Excellent systems thinking and ability to translate business challenges into AI solutions.
- Creative, pragmatic mindset with strong execution focus.

- Startup experience is a strong plus but not required.
