Role Overview
We’re seeking an Analytics Engineer to strengthen our business intelligence infrastructure. In this role, you’ll shape how data flows through the organization by designing reliable models and pipelines that serve analytics, trading, and staking functions. Reporting to the Head of Business Intelligence, you’ll play a central role in transforming raw blockchain data into structured, actionable information.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage core data models that improve decision speed and accuracy across departments
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and reporting systems to address operational, product, and user challenges
- Create internal tools powered by AI to boost team efficiency and support self-serve analytics
- Collaborate with analysts and finance teams to build and validate models for key product areas
- Process and model on-chain data—including transactions, DeFi interactions, and trading behavior—into usable datasets
- Lead improvements in data quality, workflow efficiency, and system observability
- Apply AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code and Cursor across coding, testing, and documentation workflows
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing data warehousing and modeling initiatives, especially in high-velocity environments
- Advanced SQL and data modeling abilities
- Strong working knowledge of Python
- Direct experience using dbt for data transformation and pipeline development
- Experience applying AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor to streamline development workflows
- Solid grasp of blockchain data structures, on-chain analytics, or cryptocurrency markets—or a strong drive to master them
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with ETL platforms like Fivetran
- Background in data observability solutions
