As an Analytics Engineer, you will be central to advancing the reliability, performance, and intelligence of our data systems. You'll refine and scale dbt-based data models, optimize ingestion workflows written in Python or Go, and ensure seamless data flow from source to insight. Your work will directly support analytics across product, marketing, sales, and customer success by delivering timely, accurate, and well-documented datasets.
What You’ll Do
- Refactor and tune dbt pipelines to improve speed and reduce computational costs as data scales
- Develop and maintain data ingestion scripts to keep BI and analytics systems up to date
- Design and manage data pipelines that power internal AI-driven features, including customer segmentation and sentiment analysis
- Enhance data activation processes to sync warehouse data with CRM and go-to-market tools
- Implement robust testing, documentation, and data quality checks to build trust in reporting
- Build reusable, modular SQL models with performance-focused design and incremental logic
- Ensure high availability and resilience in data orchestration and custom workflows
- Integrate LLM-based automation for classification and insight extraction within the data layer
- Manage Reverse ETL processes that deliver key business metrics to operational platforms
- Support strong engineering practices through code reviews, data contracts, and cross-team collaboration
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with dbt for advanced SQL modeling and pipeline optimization
- Strong SQL skills with an emphasis on performance and maintainability
- Solid background in building and managing data pipelines using Python or Go
- Familiarity with data warehouse architecture and best practices
- Hands-on experience with orchestration tools and pipeline monitoring
- Knowledge of Reverse ETL tools and use cases
- Commitment to data quality, testing, and clear documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively across data, engineering, product, and business functions
Nice to Have
- Experience applying LLMs to classify or extract insights from data
- Understanding of AI engineering patterns in data workflows
- Prior work in SaaS or e-learning environments
- Exposure to data contracts and governance practices
