Cognizant is hiring an Android App Automation Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks for Android applications and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for Android using Python.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, manage UAT execution, and ensure the system meets real-world business needs before deployment.
- Conduct performance testing automation.
- Create and execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts covering functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Assist in setting up and configuring mobile test environments, including real devices, emulators, and simulators.
- Integrate automated mobile tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines to ensure consistent quality throughout the development cycle.
