Infosys Consulting is looking for a Senior Android Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Android applications. You will join a team dedicated to building robust, user-centric software solutions.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in developing high-quality Android applications.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, the primary languages for Android development.
- Strong understanding of the Android Software Development Kit (SDK) and its components like activities, fragments, services, and broadcast receivers.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices, including working with XML layouts and Android's UI components.
- Familiar with MVI Architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of SQLite, Room, and other database management systems to handle data storage.
- Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, RAML API Documentation, Dagger, Espresso and JUnit.
