Shape the future of men's woven apparel for a portfolio of purpose-built brands focused on durability and everyday performance. In this role, you'll lead the design of seasonal collections—including shirts, pants, and outerwear—ensuring each piece aligns with brand identity, customer needs, and market positioning.
What You’ll Do
- Create original designs, from concept sketches to detailed tech packs, guiding ideas from vision to production
- Explore evolving trends, fabric innovations, and construction methods to inform fresh, relevant collections
- Collaborate with the Design Manager to develop seasonal narratives grounded in market insights and brand values
- Define fabric, wash, and trim specifications in partnership with sourcing and mill teams
- Work hand-in-hand with Product Development and Technical Design on fit, construction, and cost efficiency
- Lead fitting sessions, delivering clear feedback to maintain consistent fit across styles and categories
- Manage timelines across multiple brands and seasons, meeting key development milestones
- Align with Merchandising to ensure product lines support business goals and assortment strategies
- Maintain high standards for quality, design integrity, and brand cohesion across all woven offerings
What We’re Looking For
- Proven background in apparel design with a focus on men’s wovens
- Strong portfolio demonstrating original concept development and technical execution
- Experience translating brand identity into tangible product lines within defined price tiers
- Solid understanding of fabric sourcing, trim selection, and garment construction
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment with concurrent projects
- Track record of effective collaboration across design, development, and business teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong project management abilities
Location and Work Environment
This is an onsite position based in Austin, TX, within a creative, high-energy studio culture that values hands-on design and real-world product testing.
