Sysco GB is hiring an Asian Food Telesales Executive - Part Time, Remote Working

About the Role

As an Asian Food Telesales Executive, you'll work remotely on a part-time basis, serving as the primary contact for customers seeking Asian food products. Your role centers on delivering exceptional service while actively growing sales through thoughtful engagement and strong product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, taking full responsibility for resolving requests efficiently.
  • Deepen customer understanding of the full product range by aligning offerings with their specific business needs.
  • Process orders, inquiries, and administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by expanding order sizes through strategic up-selling and cross-selling during both inbound and outbound calls.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products, pricing, and market trends, including competitor activity.
  • Use structured follow-up processes to maintain consistent contact with new and existing customers, encouraging repeat business.
  • Support field-based sales teams by ensuring accurate order processing and pricing communication.
  • Act as a trusted representative, building long-term relationships grounded in reliability and service excellence.

Skills and Experience

  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales goals, particularly through account development and value-added selling.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences and resolving issues proactively.
  • Comfortable working across varying shift patterns to support customer needs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Salesforce is an advantage.
  • Additional fluency in Cantonese is beneficial, as is prior experience in a combined sales and customer service role.
