As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you'll shape the foundation of cloud infrastructure supporting Contact Center platforms and voice-driven automation technologies. Your work will directly influence how customers interact with digital services, ensuring systems are highly available, observable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy standardized AWS environments that support enterprise-wide scalability and compliance.
- Develop reusable infrastructure patterns and automation tooling to accelerate delivery across agile teams.
- Integrate cloud solutions with Contact Center platforms and conversational AI systems, including Voice Bots and NLP engines.
- Enforce best practices in fault tolerance, operational simplicity, and security across cloud workloads.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deliver immutable, programmable environments using DevSecOps principles.
- Collaborate with data, claims, and customer operations teams to deliver outcome-focused technical solutions.
- Lead research into emerging cloud and customer engagement technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation.
- Mentor team members and guide technical direction to advance cloud maturity across the organization.
Qualifications
Candidates should bring at least four years of software or data engineering experience, with two or more years managing production cloud systems. Proven experience in Agile and SDLC environments is essential, along with hands-on expertise in AWS, serverless architectures, containerization, and observability tools. Familiarity with Contact Center platforms such as Genesys, NICE, or Amazon Connect is required, as is experience with Voice Bot and conversational AI integrations.
Preferred candidates will hold cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP), demonstrate knowledge of IAM and regulatory compliance, and have applied experience in cross-account deployment strategies and cloud security frameworks.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday through Thursday) at one of several U.S. locations. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, lean environments and can operate independently while contributing to broader enterprise goals.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary ranges from $122,800 to $184,200, with additional rewards including annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and recognition programs. The total compensation package reflects a commitment to competitive pay and professional growth.
