As an Azure AI Co-Pilot Engineer, you will develop and deploy intelligent automation solutions using Microsoft’s Azure AI ecosystem. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure OpenAI, with attention to security, performance, and maintainability.
- Develop tailored copilot experiences that align with business workflows, leveraging natural language processing and generative AI capabilities.
- Translate business needs into technical designs, collaborating closely with stakeholders across functions.
- Experiment with large language models (LLMs), refine prompts, and apply Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques to improve response accuracy.
- Continuously explore advancements in AI tooling and recommend integrations that strengthen existing platforms.
- Work effectively both independently and within distributed teams, contributing to a culture of innovation and shared learning.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates with practical experience or strong interest in Microsoft’s AI tools and cloud platforms. You should have foundational knowledge of AI development practices and a proven ability to deliver technical solutions in agile environments.
- Hands-on exposure to Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services (2–3 months minimum, or demonstrable interest).
- Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of SQL.
- Understanding of large language models, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
- Experience building secure APIs and applying data protection principles in cloud environments.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Background
- Experience with machine learning libraries or front-end frameworks such as JavaScript or Streamlit.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week onsite. Candidates based in Bangalore or Pune are preferred, though applicants from Hyderabad or Chennai may also be considered.
