As a Backend Engineer on the Assets team, you will play a central role in shaping the core infrastructure that powers digital asset management across multiple blockchain networks. Your work will directly impact the scalability, resilience, and performance of systems used by major financial institutions, fintech platforms, and Web3 organizations.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement microservices that handle high-throughput, low-latency transaction processing while maintaining system stability and availability.
- Lead end-to-end development of backend features, from architecture and coding to testing and deployment, ensuring clean, maintainable code across the stack.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to define technical requirements and roadmaps, and partner with Design and Engineering teams to deliver solutions that align with user needs and system constraints.
- Continuously improve existing systems by refactoring code, reducing technical debt, optimizing performance, and reinforcing security practices.
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep understanding of web and SaaS architecture patterns, including when and how to apply them effectively.
- Hands-on expertise with Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration technologies.
- Proven ability to assess and integrate emerging technologies into existing systems.
- A strong focus on security, reliability, and operational excellence.

- Background in blockchain technology or cryptocurrency systems.
