As a Backend Engineer on the Assets team, you'll design and implement core services that securely manage blockchain transactions at scale. Your work will directly impact systems used by leading financial institutions and Web3 platforms.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices that process high-throughput blockchain operations with reliability and low latency.
- Own end-to-end development of backend features, from architecture to deployment, ensuring performance and resilience.
- Optimize APIs and internal logic to support growing transaction volumes and evolving product requirements.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to shape technical direction and deliver seamless experiences.
- Refactor and improve existing systems to reduce technical debt, enhance scalability, and strengthen security.
- Work within modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments on cloud platforms.
What We're Looking For
- At least five years of experience in backend or fullstack development.
- Strong command of Node.js and TypeScript in production environments.
- Deep understanding of SaaS architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Proven ability to evaluate and integrate new technologies effectively.
- A security-first mindset with experience building robust, production-grade systems.
- Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
