About the Role

This role involves working directly with families to implement behavior intervention strategies, track progress, and ensure consistent application of therapeutic techniques across home and community settings.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one behavior intervention services to clients in home and community environments
  • Collaborate with families to understand client needs and goals
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans under supervision
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress
  • Communicate regularly with supervising clinicians and caregivers
  • Train family members and support staff on behavior management techniques
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions
  • Support generalization of skills across different settings
  • Attend team meetings and case reviews
  • Adapt strategies based on client response and feedback
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards
  • Coordinate scheduling with families and team members
  • Promote client independence through skill-building activities
  • Model positive interaction techniques during sessions
  • Respond to behavioral crises using approved protocols
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development
  • Uphold client confidentiality at all times
  • Transport materials to and from service locations
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Support transitions between programs or care levels
  • Assist in updating client goals based on progress
  • Use technology for data entry and communication
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive environment
  • Follow safety procedures during in-person visits
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Compensation
