About the Role
This role involves working directly with families to implement behavior intervention strategies, track progress, and ensure consistent application of therapeutic techniques across home and community settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one behavior intervention services to clients in home and community environments
- Collaborate with families to understand client needs and goals
- Implement individualized behavior support plans under supervision
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure progress
- Communicate regularly with supervising clinicians and caregivers
- Train family members and support staff on behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions
- Support generalization of skills across different settings
- Attend team meetings and case reviews
- Adapt strategies based on client response and feedback
- Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards
- Coordinate scheduling with families and team members
- Promote client independence through skill-building activities
- Model positive interaction techniques during sessions
- Respond to behavioral crises using approved protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Uphold client confidentiality at all times
- Transport materials to and from service locations
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Support transitions between programs or care levels
- Assist in updating client goals based on progress
- Use technology for data entry and communication
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment
- Follow safety procedures during in-person visits
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
Compensation
