Responsibilities
- Manage user access, data models, dashboards, and user-specific settings in Google Looker
- Design and implement LookML structures and interactive dashboard layouts with effective visual representations
- Construct basic and advanced Looks, combine query results, and optimize report performance
- Develop and sustain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Build and maintain database components including T-SQL scripts, views, common table expressions, functions, and stored procedures
- Write SQL routines to transfer and transform data across data marts
- Examine datasets to assess accuracy, consistency, and completeness
- Verify data mart content and dashboard outputs against source system records
- Define and record business logic and operational workflows
- Design and run test scenarios to validate data integrity and reporting accuracy
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to data, dashboards, and reporting tools; address data inquiries
- Gather, clarify, and document reporting and data warehouse requirements
- Produce technical specifications and user guides; instruct end users on platform features and efficient usage
- Ensure proper handling of confidential information, including identification and protection of personally identifiable information
- Support team leadership duties such as mentoring, assigning work, reviewing code, and setting priorities
