Role Overview
Join a development-focused team as a Business Analyst and play a central role in shaping product direction. You will collaborate with product managers and senior analysts to collect stakeholder input, define functional requirements, and support the development lifecycle from concept to implementation. Your ability to interpret business goals and convert them into actionable technical documentation will be key to delivering effective software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior analysts to lead requirement-gathering sessions and refine product needs through structured workshops.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation such as UI/UX mockups, workflow diagrams, API specifications, and data models.
- Define and track product roadmaps and development timelines to support planning and execution.
- Translate business objectives into detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
- Perform gap analysis to identify opportunities for system optimization and process enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups including development, sales, finance, and marketing to ensure alignment on feature implementation.
- Clarify user journeys, interface logic, and workflow rules that support modern web application design.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, ideally within software or product-driven environments.
- Proven ability to work alongside developers and technical teams across the full development cycle.
- Experience capturing business needs and transforming them into structured technical documentation.
- Skill in preparing scoping documents and requirement specs used by developers prior to build.
- Proficiency with Confluence for knowledge sharing and documentation management.
- Familiarity with knowledge platforms such as Guru or comparable internal systems.
- Background working with CRM platforms, SaaS applications, or internal operational tools.
- Understanding of modern front-end frameworks, particularly Angular-based architectures.
- Experience using Figma or Balsamiq for prototyping and design collaboration.
