This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement across enterprise operations. The Business Analyst will conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and data flows, working closely with both business units and IT to implement scalable solutions. Central to the position is the use of automation technologies and data visualization platforms to enhance decision-making and streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to assess current processes and define requirements for system enhancements and automation projects.
- Analyze diverse data sources to detect trends, uncover insights, and support strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI to enable Digital Transformation reporting and improve visibility into key performance metrics.
- Partner with IT and platform development teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing automated workflows.
- Act as a subject matter expert for current automation systems, identifying areas for refinement and ensuring data accuracy.
- Document business requirements, create process maps, and support the design of future-state operations.
- Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and present results to leadership.
- Collaborate with training teams to support adoption of new processes and workflows.
- Facilitate meetings to resolve operational challenges and advance continuous improvement goals.
- Bridge communication between technical teams and business owners, ensuring alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree is required, though extensive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or process optimization may be considered in lieu of formal education. Candidates must demonstrate strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Experience with reporting and analytics tools is highly beneficial. Familiarity with Athena IDX (Centricity Business) and hands-on involvement in robotic process automation projects are advantageous.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, capable of managing multiple concurrent projects, and comfortable presenting findings to senior leaders. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to interpret data trends and convey recommendations effectively.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position available to candidates residing in specific regions. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting and regular use of computer systems and office equipment. Occasional standing and walking may be necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $66,900 to $113,700 annually. Actual pay is determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus, awarded based on individual and company performance. This range does not include potential bonuses or other forms of compensation.
