Responsibilities
- Conducts data analysis and presents summarized insights to leadership.
- Responds to external data inquiries and supports audits from regulatory bodies such as The Joint Commission and the American Nurses Credentialing Center for Magnet Certification.
- Gathers qualitative and quantitative data to assess trends and the impact of operational projects.
- Evaluates budget performance, identifies variances, and collaborates with departmental business operations leads on reporting.
- Collaborates to enhance both clinical and non-clinical documentation practices.
- Processes and verifies billing documents, vendor invoices, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payment requests with attention to correct coding, approvals, and accuracy.
- Tracks and maintains records for contracts, vendors, labor costs, and project finances in designated systems, ensuring completeness and audit readiness.
- Manages and upholds current policies and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence.
- Recommends and implements process enhancements to improve efficiency and data integrity, including creating training materials for billing, charging, and invoicing workflows.
- May lead specific projects within the assigned department as required.
- Performs additional tasks as needed.
