As a Business Development Manager, you will lead end-to-end sales initiatives for a leading Swiss software provider in the Wealth Management industry. Your primary focus will be generating and converting high-quality leads within private banks, asset management firms, and family offices, while also expanding market reach through strategic alliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline by identifying and engaging decision-makers at financial institutions
- Lead the complete sales cycle—from initial outreach to contract finalization—with a focus on complex, high-value solutions
- Build and nurture partnerships to increase visibility, generate referrals, and accelerate deal flow
- Lead coordination of responses to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring accurate and compelling proposals
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, contributing insights from market feedback and client interactions
- Identify and evaluate new geographic and sector-based growth opportunities
Qualifications and Attributes
You bring at least five years of experience in B2B software sales, ideally within WealthTech or FinTech environments. You have a track record of navigating long, complex sales cycles and closing deals at the institutional level.
- Proven ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders
- Strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and deal structuring expertise
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a disciplined, results-oriented approach
