Clinical Data Analyst – Washington, D.C.
Role Overview
This position supports the transformation of clinical processes into scalable data systems that enhance digital health solutions. The analyst will collaborate with clinical, product, and engineering teams to ensure data models accurately reflect medical workflows and contribute to measurable improvements in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to define data needs and implement clinical logic within analytics systems
- Develop, refine, and manage advanced SQL queries that drive clinical decision-making in the platform
- Assess clinical outcomes and performance indicators to measure product impact and efficiency
- Analyze data to uncover ways to boost user engagement, operational flow, and health results
- Support product iterations by evaluating pilot programs, new features, and process adjustments
- Present findings through dashboards and reports designed for clinical, technical, and executive audiences
- Convert clinical requirements into structured data models and reporting tools that scale with product growth
- Detect patterns and gaps affecting patient outcomes, pharmacy operations, and user experience
- Deliver clear, data-backed insights to guide clinical and product strategy
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of healthcare systems and clinical workflows
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries
- Experience validating clinical datasets for accuracy and consistency
- Proven track record in evaluating both short-term and long-term health outcomes
- Ability to derive meaningful insights that influence product and clinical decisions
- Experience managing full-cycle analytical projects independently
Technical Environment
Core tools include SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis within a cloud-based SaaS platform.
Work Location
