About the Role
Shape the future of cloud infrastructure by transforming enterprise cloud patterns into secure, reliable, and scalable Azure environments consumed by engineering teams nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code modules using Terraform and Bicep for Azure Landing Zones and resource deployment.
- Design and enforce CI/CD pipeline standards with attention to state management, drift detection, and consistent deployment processes.
- Establish and govern Azure Policy definitions, including EPAC-based initiatives, to enable secure self-service capabilities for internal and external teams.
- Implement financial governance controls such as cost constraints, budget tracking, and proactive alerting aligned with FinOps principles.
- Operationalize hub-and-spoke network topologies, private connectivity solutions, and publish secure public endpoints via Azure Front Door.
- Integrate security monitoring with Microsoft Sentinel, apply architecture-driven security measures, and enforce compliance within deployment pipelines.
- Deploy comprehensive observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Grafana for monitoring and dashboards.
- Support incident response protocols, maintain runbooks, and follow release and change management procedures to ensure platform stability.
- Enhance delivery speed and reliability by driving automation, standardization, and CI/CD adoption across engineering units.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $114,600 – $151,800. MB & ON: $104,500 – $143,900. NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $97,400 – $131,200. Final pay may vary based on education, experience, location, and business needs. Range subject to change.
