Responsibilities
- Lead the CloudOps and DevOps initiatives within a program focused on AI-supported SAP migration and advanced data platform development.
- Design and deploy secure integration architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise systems to support SAP migration, AI automation, data engineering, BI, and governance needs.
- Establish the DevOps strategic roadmap, including operational frameworks, deployment standards, monitoring strategies, and platform readiness planning.
- Oversee the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, release workflows, branching models, environment progression, automated testing, and deployment governance.
- Support infrastructure-as-code adoption for cloud networking, security, compute, storage, monitoring, and platform services.
- Enable secure connections between cloud environments and on-premise SAP systems, data sources, file systems, schedulers, APIs, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Collaborate with SAP teams to ensure reliable connectivity, orchestration, batch scheduling, data extraction, delta processing, secure file transfers, and operational coordination.
- Partner with AI teams to deliver secure execution environments for AI agents, automation services, APIs, backend systems, model integrations, logging, monitoring, and cost tracking.
- Work with Data Engineering teams to enable deployment of data pipelines, lakehouse components, data quality tools, metadata workflows, and reconciliation services.
- Support BI teams with Power BI and Fabric workspace configuration, gateway setup, deployment pipelines, access controls, and report release management.
- Define and implement monitoring, alerting, logging, incident response, service health checks, operational dashboards, and runbook procedures.
- Support hybrid operations across cloud and on-premise systems, including network configurations, firewall policies, gateways, private endpoints, identity management, certificates, and secure access.
- Implement identity and access management, secrets handling, service principals, managed identities, role-based access control, and least-privilege security models.
- Assist in security and architecture reviews, compliance validation, audit evidence collection, and operational risk reduction activities.
- Define strategies for system resilience, backup, disaster recovery, high availability, rollback procedures, and cutover support.
- Lead platform readiness efforts for pilot phases, migration waves, user acceptance testing, production deployment, hypercare, and transition to operations.
- Coordinate with client infrastructure, security, SAP Basis, network, and operations teams to resolve dependencies and unblock progress.
- Support operational use of SAP, AI, and migration automation tools as needed.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and delivery teams on engineering best practices, automation, monitoring, release management, and operational excellence.
