As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based data and analytics platforms on Google Cloud. Your work will directly support scalable solutions for data processing, machine learning, and large language models, ensuring performance, security, and reliability across environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, deploy, and optimize cloud infrastructure on GCP for data analytics and insights delivery
- Support the lifecycle of ML and LLM applications, from deployment to scaling and monitoring
- Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL
- Automate operational workflows using scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to refine system design and documentation
- Share cloud expertise with Strategy and Media teams to align technical capabilities with business goals
- Monitor system health, resolve incidents, and implement performance improvements
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in cloud or software engineering roles
- Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, App Engine, and Compute Engine
- Strong coding skills in Python and SQL
- Hands-on background in building and managing data pipelines
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Background
- Interest or experience in machine learning and large language models on GCP
- Exposure to digital advertising technologies such as Google Ads, Campaign Manager, or Meta platforms
- Hold or actively pursuing GCP certifications
