Strongpoint Partners is hiring a Combo Retirement Plan Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end administration for a caseload of around 80 small combination retirement plans independently.
  • Interpret actuarial valuation components for defined benefit and cash balance plans and relay findings to internal actuaries and clients.
  • Produce complete annual valuation submissions, including reports, notices, certifications, IRS forms, and PBGC filings.
  • Collaborate on plan design strategies for current and prospective clients.
  • Conduct, verify, and correct annual non-discrimination tests for standalone and combined DB/DC plans under various IRS code sections.
  • Review all client-facing and government-submitted documents such as reports, disclosures, tax forms, and legal paperwork.
  • Determine contribution amounts and future funding projections.
  • Process and validate distributions for separated participants, including calculation accuracy and form completeness.
  • Investigate complex regulatory and technical issues affecting client plans.
  • Foster strong client relationships through proactive communication and advisory on compliance and plan management.
  • Pursue continuous professional development via training sessions and certification exams.
  • Complete additional tasks as necessary.

Compensation

The expected base salary range is $80,000 to $95,000 per year. Final pay is based on location, skills, experience, education, and certifications. Total compensation includes base salary plus a full benefits package.

Work Arrangement

Fully remote; eligible for any location within the United States.

Team

Member of a specialized retirement plans team that collaborates with internal actuarial staff and regional client support units.

Pay Transparency Statement

The anticipated pay range for this position is $80,000-$95,000 annually. At Strongpoint Partners, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
