Shape the future of preventive healthcare through data
We're building a data platform that enables reliable, compliant, and high-performance analytics and machine learning in a healthcare setting. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a central role in designing and maintaining the systems that power our insights—ensuring data is accurate, traceable, and securely available across batch and streaming workflows.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing.
- Develop and manage data models across lakehouse and database platforms to support analytics and ML use cases.
- Own core components of the data infrastructure, from ingestion to transformation and storage.
- Ensure data quality through monitoring, lineage tracking, and alerting systems.
- Optimize compute, storage, and cluster performance for efficiency and reliability.
- Implement observability practices using logging, tracing, and metrics across data services.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues, pipeline failures, and performance constraints.
- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and backend engineers to align on modeling, integration, and governance needs.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and pipeline development.
- Experience with data storage technologies including relational and NoSQL databases, data lakes, and formats like Parquet and Delta Lake.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and their data services.
- Background in CI/CD workflows and automated testing in data environments.
- Strong understanding of data observability, including metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Experience with data governance, lineage, access controls, data contracts, and regulatory compliance in sensitive domains.
Work Environment
This is a remote-first role with team members across Berlin, Chamonix, Hamburg, Lisbon, Marseille, Vilnius, and Stockholm. While most work is remote, engineers in Stockholm typically come into the office once every one to two weeks, and teams gather in person several times a year for collaboration. The culture emphasizes autonomy, cross-functional teamwork, and a sustainable pace.
Bi-weekly engineering demos keep everyone informed on progress across hardware, calibration, backend systems, and data infrastructure—fostering continuous learning and alignment.
Our Mission
We're focused on transforming healthcare from reactive to preventive. By combining non-invasive technology with clinical insight, we aim to detect health risks earlier and more accurately. Your work will directly support that goal by ensuring data is trustworthy, accessible, and engineered to the highest standards.
We value inclusive hiring practices and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. Reasonable adjustments are available to support your application and interview process.
