Responsibilities
- Design the ideal structure for the Data & Analytics platform to ensure data availability and reuse for analytics products
- Oversee and track data pipelines that extract and transform data into the Data & Analytics platform
- Incorporate and process new internal and external data sources by building end-to-end pipelines from ingestion to transformation
- Provide transformed data to operational systems by consolidating inputs from multiple sources
- Enhance and scale data flows and models within the Data & Analytics platform to support analytics deployments
- Establish and document detailed data engineering procedures to ensure efficient platform development and maintenance
- Evaluate the reliability, resilience, and performance of ELT processes and pipelines, redesigning when necessary
- Collect functional needs and draft technical specification documents
- Maintain and supervise high standards of data quality with an emphasis on consistency
- Promptly address issues affecting data interfaces and ELT workflows
- Extend the existing Data & Analytics platform to support big data functionalities by researching and disseminating best practices
