As a Data Engineer, you will develop and manage the data systems that power business intelligence and decision-making. Your primary focus will be on designing and optimizing data pipelines using dbt and BigQuery, integrating diverse sources such as MongoDB, APIs, Google Analytics, and spreadsheets to ensure timely, accurate data delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT workflows to support analytics and reporting needs
- Develop and document data models that align with business requirements
- Build and update interactive dashboards in Looker Studio to make data accessible across teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders in sales, finance, operations, and engineering to define data needs and resolve issues
- Implement data validation and monitoring practices to ensure consistency and reliability
Qualifications
- 5+ years in data or analytics engineering, preferably in a fast-moving environment
- Strong command of SQL and experience with cloud data platforms like BigQuery
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data processing tasks
- Familiarity with version control using git
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- Fluent in English, with clear written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Looker Studio or similar BI tools
