As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and managing the infrastructure that supports large-scale data processing and analytics. Your work will ensure that data is collected, stored, and delivered efficiently and accurately across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing, ensuring high availability and performance
- Integrate data from multiple sources such as APIs, databases, and event streams, with a focus on data integrity and consistency
- Design and manage data storage architectures, including data warehouses and lakes, to support analytical and operational needs
- Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to deliver well-structured, documented datasets that support self-service analysis
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to maintain pipeline health, optimize performance, and control costs
- Apply data governance principles, including access controls, lineage tracking, and documentation standards
What We're Looking For
You have at least three years of experience in data engineering or a related field involving heavy data processing. You're proficient in Python or TypeScript and have strong SQL skills. You understand data modeling, ETL/ELT workflows, and the requirements of analytics systems.
Experience with data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake is required. Familiarity with cloud platforms—particularly GCP—is a plus, as is experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub. Knowledge of dbt, data lake architectures, or ML pipelines is beneficial but not required.
Environment and Impact
This is a high-autonomy role in a flat, results-driven environment. You'll own critical data systems that support business decisions and product development at scale. Compensation is competitive, with additional growth potential and equity. The role supports global collaboration with flexibility in how and where you work.
We value ownership, trust, and measurable impact. If you're someone who thrives on building reliable systems and enabling data-driven outcomes, this role offers meaningful challenges and opportunities to grow.
