Cypher Consulting Europe is hiring a Data Engineer for a 1-year consulting assignment based in Sweden. We need a hands-on technical expert with strong Python skills and deep experience in the Azure ecosystem to deliver high-quality solutions with minimal onboarding.
What You'll Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, integrations, and APIs.
- Work within the Azure cloud environment, leveraging services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Functions, Storage, and related tools.
- Implement and support ETL/ELT workflows, data lake architectures, and real-time or near real-time data processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a fast-paced environment.
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in Python and hands-on experience working in Azure.
- Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT, orchestration, data lakes, and streaming/real-time processing.
- Experience with APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-native data services.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver results under tight timelines.
