This role is for a Data Engineer focused on constructing and managing enterprise-grade data systems. You will develop data architectures, design models, and implement pipelines that power analytics, data science, and machine learning projects. Working entirely remotely, you'll collaborate across teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data architectures and pipelines to support enterprise analytics and data science needs
- Define and manage data flows, content, and element specifications to enable enterprise-wide master data integration
- Profile data from diverse sources to assess suitability for business and technical requirements
- Establish standardized business definitions and metadata rules for unified reporting
- Build and maintain data models and movement processes tailored to analytical use cases
- Apply best practices in data engineering, including CI/CD, Docker, and AWS container technologies
- Ensure data integrity through validation, quality assurance, and governance enforcement
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to align data sources with authoritative references
- Stay current with advancements in data governance, master data management, and data quality technologies
- Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Math, or a related field. A Master’s degree requires one year of relevant experience; a Bachelor’s degree requires three years. You should have hands-on experience with data architecture, Python, SQL, Docker, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and enterprise data platforms including Postgres, Microsoft SQL, SSIS, and SSRS. Experience with AWS infrastructure, ETL systems, data warehousing, and master data management—including data cleansing and de-duplication—is essential.

Compensation & Benefits
