Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle development of a reporting platform that consolidates data from various internal business systems into cloud-based environments such as Microsoft Fabric or Databricks.
- Design and manage batch-oriented data pipelines using ELT and ETL methodologies, supported by orchestration tools.
- Create and oversee master and reference data frameworks to ensure standardized business terminology, dimensional models, and reliable reporting.
- Conduct data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation; implement data quality checks, exception management, reconciliation processes, and audit trails across all stages.
- Apply industry-standard data modeling techniques to develop reusable semantic, warehouse, and lakehouse models optimized for analytics, exploration, and user-driven reporting.
- Assess and deploy AI-enhanced methods for tasks like data categorization, anomaly identification, quality oversight, metadata enhancement, and automation of business logic.
- Build and manage Power BI assets including datasets, semantic layers, dashboards, and reports, incorporating row-level security, performance optimization, and user adoption guidance.
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of a cost management data solution, covering database schema, data ingestion, version tracking, and reporting deliverables.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and business teams to convert reporting needs into scalable data solutions tied to measurable business impact.
- Implement DevOps and operational practices such as monitoring, alerting, release pipelines, documentation, support transition, and ongoing enhancements.
- Set and uphold standards for data governance, metadata management, data lineage, access permissions, privacy compliance, and retention policies in line with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver technical leadership with significant autonomy across solution architecture, development, testing, deployment, and operational support phases.
