Joyteractive is looking for a Middle Data Engineer to strengthen our team. You will work on data infrastructure supporting our puzzle and casual mobile games for iOS and Android platforms, helping us dominate the world of puzzles.
What You'll Do
- Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for data collection and processing.
- Design and maintain DAGs in Apache Airflow for automated data collection and loading.
- Integrate external sources, including configuration of incremental data extraction and deduplication from Appsflyer, Firebase, and other systems.
- Perform data modeling in dbt, creating and maintaining SQL models from staging to marts, including quality tests.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining DAGs in Apache Airflow, managing task dependencies and triggers.
- Proficient in advanced SQL, including CTEs and window functions, with optimization experience; familiar with Redshift and/or BigQuery.
- Hands-on experience with Python, using libraries like requests and pandas, for building connectors, data transformation, and loading for ETL/ELT.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with migration and optimization in BigQuery; familiarity with GCP services like Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow.
- Experience with Kafka, Google Pub/Sub, or AWS Kinesis for near-real-time event processing.
- Familiarity with Airbyte, Fivetran, Meltano, or similar connectors for rapid integration setup.
- Proficiency in Looker, Tableau, or Power BI for building dashboards and analytical reports.
- Understanding of mobile and web analytics metrics, such as attribution and cohort analysis, and advertising platforms.
