This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the integrity of General Ledger master data in SAP environments across the EMEA region. You will manage the creation, modification, and ongoing maintenance of GL data within core financial systems, including SAP ECC, BW, and BPC, ensuring consistency and accuracy across platforms.
Data Governance & Compliance
You will establish, implement, and communicate data governance policies and standards to uphold data quality and regulatory compliance. This includes defining best practices for data stewardship and ensuring adherence across finance teams. You will also monitor data maintenance processes and lead initiatives to enhance data integrity within enterprise financial systems.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
The role involves active participation in finance data projects and cross-functional initiatives with IT and regional finance teams. You will support process improvements, contribute to system upgrades, and help align data practices with evolving business needs. Strong collaboration skills are essential to drive alignment and ensure data standards are understood and followed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years in a finance role with hands-on experience in data management
- Proven ability to work effectively in team settings and across multiple projects
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Familiarity with SAP ECC, BPC, BW, or S/4HANA is highly desirable
- Experience with Excel, Power BI, or SAP Analytics tools is an advantage
- Background in data governance, master data management, or enterprise data stewardship is preferred
