Responsibilities
- Own the development and iteration of a subset of Data product offerings by analysing data to improve net new bookings, customer retention and learner retention
- Validate assumptions and competitor analysis in partnership with Product Marketing to shape technical value communication and competitor positioning
- Stay ahead of data and tooling trends to identify new skills development pain points and opportunities
- Support GTM, Finance and Delivery teams to scope custom data offerings, balancing market potential against technical investment required
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create compliant apprenticeship curricula meeting learner and client needs
- Use data and insights to identify and prioritise opportunities for growth and improvement, including managing backlog and prioritisation for Learning team members and external teams
- Support partners in Delivery, Admissions and Product to assess and enable readiness of systems and people to deliver high quality learning experience
- Identify and escalate risks to all levels in the organisation, including C Suite, to ensure products remain on track to hit quality benchmarks
- Establish and lead rigorous feedback loops for products, synthesising input from delivery teams, learners and clients
- Serve as the internal and external 'voice of the data practitioner,' building trust with technical leaders and stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Strong background in data upskilling with an existing network of experts and trusted sources
- Understanding of differences between data warehouse and data lake, and knowledge of essential libraries or tools in the modern data stack across customer types
- Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to launch learning products and their ongoing improvements
- Confident written and oral communication skills at all levels, including ability to discuss technical specifications, raise risks with SLT, and convince Chief Data Officers of product ROI
- Ability to distinguish between signal and noise in stakeholder feedback while holding the line on prioritisation
- Strong vision for applied learning, particularly apprenticeship and applied learning models to accelerate data skills acquisition
- Confidence in building and using AI workflows to automate research, development and reporting tasks
Nice to Have
- Work experience in a data aligned field such as Data Science, Analytics or Engineering
- Experience with cohort-based or online content creation, specifically within technical or professional training
- Experience working within regulated structures (e.g., UK Apprenticeship Levy)
