As a Data Scientist focused on pricing, you'll play a central role in shaping intelligent systems that influence core business outcomes. Your work will center on developing and refining machine learning models for dynamic and personalized pricing, surge mechanisms, and commission structures, ensuring they deliver measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of pricing-related ML models, from concept to production
- Perform in-depth exploratory analysis to uncover patterns and engineer meaningful features
- Apply statistical and causal inference methods to assess pricing impact and guide decision-making
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define requirements and prioritize initiatives
- Ensure data integrity across pipelines, advocating for high standards in data quality
- Train, validate, and fine-tune models using scalable cloud infrastructure
- Monitor deployed models for performance, data drift, and business KPIs
- Translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
- Document solutions thoroughly and contribute to knowledge sharing across teams
- Support broader data and AI initiatives to strengthen team capabilities and collaboration
What We’re Looking For
You have a strong foundation in quantitative disciplines and real-world experience applying data science in production environments. A master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics is expected, along with at least two years of professional coding experience in Python and SQL.
Proficiency in statistical testing, causal analysis, and model lifecycle management is essential. You're familiar with cloud platforms—especially Google Cloud Platform—and have worked within MLOps frameworks to deploy and maintain models. Your approach combines analytical rigor with an engineering mindset, ensuring solutions are scalable, efficient, and well-tested.
Strong communication skills are critical: you can explain complex concepts clearly and support product teams in presenting insights. You’re self-driven, capable of managing projects independently, and committed to fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
