As a Database Administrator, you will play a key role in maintaining and evolving both internal and publicly accessible database systems. Your work will directly support scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure across cloud and artificial intelligence platforms, ensuring reliability and resilience under demanding conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and enhance database systems through updates, performance tuning, automation, and lifecycle management
- Support public database services by integrating new features such as replication, failover, and backup solutions
- Respond to and resolve database-related incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to services
- Design and implement deployment strategies, including high availability, disaster recovery, and secure replication topologies
- Enhance tooling and automation frameworks used for database provisioning and management
- Collaborate with developers and fellow administrators to promote efficient and secure database usage
- Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to the evolution of internal systems and practices
- Take part in an on-call rotation to support critical infrastructure
What You Bring
- Proven experience managing major relational databases—such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle—in production settings
- Strong Linux administration skills with hands-on scripting in Bash
- Experience with automation tools including Ansible, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with monitoring using Prometheus and development in Python or Go
- Deep knowledge of database security, access controls, backup strategies, and service continuity
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to convey technical details to diverse audiences
- Self-direction and attention to detail, especially when managing mission-critical systems
- Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed, multilingual team with empathy and professionalism
- Fluency in written English; comfort working in French-speaking environments

This role operates in a hybrid model, allowing up to three days of remote work weekly, with office locations in Paris, Lille, Toulouse, Rennes, Rouen, Bordeaux, and Lyon.
