As a Databricks Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of cloud-based data solutions for international clients, shaping the future of data platforms through modern architecture patterns. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, secure, and scalable systems that align with business goals and technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee cloud-native data architectures, focusing on scalability, performance, and security
- Lead technical discussions and translate business requirements into effective data solutions
- Guide teams in implementing Databricks platforms, including advanced features such as Lakebridge, Lakeflow, and Agent Bricks
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define delivery strategies, estimate costs, and set architectural standards
- Evaluate emerging technologies and evolving regulations to ensure solutions remain forward-looking and compliant
Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years building complex technical solutions, with at least 3 years in an architectural capacity
- Proven experience with Databricks platforms, including governance, security, and engineering aspects
- Strong background in cloud environments—Azure or AWS—with hands-on work in data engineering and infrastructure
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and pySpark for data processing and pipeline development
- Familiarity with modern data paradigms such as data fabric, data mesh, and data vault
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum or similar methodologies
- Fluent communication in English (C1 level or higher)
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of relational database design principles
- Background in real-time data processing and data warehousing patterns
Work Environment
