Role Overview
We need a skilled engineer to oversee the deployment, configuration, and long-term stability of our software systems in live environments. You'll play a key role in ensuring seamless rollouts, consistent performance, and rapid resolution of technical issues across diverse client sites.
What You'll Do
- Set up and manage server configurations to support reliable software operation
- Diagnose and fix system and network problems using standard command-line tools
- Carry out software deployments, updates, and security patches with minimal disruption
- Ensure deployment processes are repeatable, compliant, and well-documented
- Install and configure software on new hardware and at new project locations
- Monitor system performance and take proactive steps to improve availability
- Identify inefficiencies in current workflows and implement practical solutions
- Keep accurate records of system configurations, changes, and incident resolutions
- Work closely with development and operations teams to support integrations and troubleshooting
- Provide occasional off-hours support to maintain service reliability for global deployments
