Design Lifestyle Products with Global Impact
As a Designer in the Lifestyle division, you'll shape product concepts across fashion, home, beauty, food, and personal care categories for key international markets including ANZ, Southeast Asia, and India. Working within Universal Products & Experiences, your role bridges creative vision with practical execution, guiding ideas from initial concept through to final production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned product categories through every phase of development—concept, design, sampling, packaging, and production—ensuring timelines and brand standards are met.
- Provide clear, accurate creative direction to external partners such as licensees, retailers, and agents, ensuring alignment with franchise goals and property guidelines.
- Develop design materials including trend boards, mockups, packaging visuals, and presentations to support line reviews and stakeholder approvals.
- Stay current with consumer trends, market innovations, and competitive offerings to inform forward-thinking product concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Category, Franchise, Legal, and Retail to ensure cohesive development and brand consistency.
- Translate storytelling and character assets into compelling, market-ready products that reflect brand integrity and creative originality.
- Advocate for design choices with confidence, balancing aesthetic innovation with cost efficiency, manufacturability, and retail requirements.
- Maintain clear, consistent communication across time zones with internal stakeholders and external partners to keep projects on track.
Qualifications & Skills
You bring a strong foundation in consumer product design with demonstrated experience in licensing, manufacturing, or product development for lifestyle categories. Your design sensibility is matched by technical fluency and organizational precision.
- Proven experience in design and development for fashion, home, beauty, food, or care products.
- Familiarity with licensed entertainment brands and their creative requirements.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with working knowledge of InDesign, Keynote, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly.
- Detail-oriented and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, multi-market environment.
- Degree in Fashion/Product Design, Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field is preferred.
