Responsibilities
- Design and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment workflows for applications in federal settings
- Oversee and supervise infrastructure operations within government-compliant cloud platforms such as AWS GovCloud and Azure Government
- Develop and sustain Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Enforce compliance with federal security standards including FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and FISMA across all system components
- Monitor operational performance, configure alerting systems, and address incidents in production environments governed by federal requirements
- Partner with security personnel to perform vulnerability scans and implement corrective actions
- Automate the management of system configurations and the provisioning of environments
- Orchestrate and maintain containerized applications via Kubernetes and Docker in secure, isolated, or restricted-network environments
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of system architectures, operational procedures, and compliance-related materials
- Assist in achieving and maintaining Authority to Operate status by supplying technical documentation for audits
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams such as software developers, security specialists, and project leads
- Perform reviews of infrastructure code and uphold consistent coding practices across automation scripts and pipelines
