Responsibilities
- Design and manage automated pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Operate and scale container orchestration platforms using managed or self-hosted Kubernetes services
- Deploy and manage cloud resources through code using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and scalability across distributed environments
- Set up and maintain observability systems including monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Enable seamless software releases with zero-downtime deployment techniques and rollback capabilities
- Diagnose and resolve production issues such as latency, service failures, memory exhaustion, and network disruptions
- Enforce security standards including identity and access management, secrets handling, and network controls
- Work closely with development teams to align on deployment approaches, architecture, and operational preparedness
