About the Role

MetroStar is hiring a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer I to integrate security best practices throughout the development and operations lifecycle for applications supporting high-level federal government clients. You'll work on a collaborative team to build secure infrastructure and mentor development teams.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and implement security best practices for .NET frameworks to support application operations.
  • Ensure integration of Security throughout the development and operations lifecycle.
  • Provide advanced technical capability to mentor development teams on secure coding practices, strengthen application security posture, and maintain compliance with customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence with your knowledge and skills, and use your creativity to provide innovative solutions that fit the customer’s needs.

What We're Looking For

  • Active Top Secret with current or previously held SCI access.
  • BA/BS in an IT-related field; relevant experience may be substituted.
  • Certification meeting DoD 8140 (e.g., Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, or higher).
  • 5+ years of DevSecOps Engineer experience, or similar.
  • Experience in the design, deployment, operations and maintenance of enterprise development security platforms, secure or vetted package management solutions, and DevSecOps CI/CD solutions in both on-premise and cloud environments across multiple levels of classification.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.
