Polarstern Experts is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer (m/w/d) to take ownership of developing and operating highly automated services. You'll join a company of approximately 400 employees and play a key role in building and securing hybrid cloud environments.
What You'll Do
- Independently develop services in Go or Java with a high degree of automation.
- Ensure deployment of developed services, following a You built it - You run it principle.
- Build and maintain a hybrid environment consisting of AWS, Kubernetes, Azure, and VMware.
- Further develop the company's own PKI solution.
- Support other teams in developing secure applications and platforms.
What We're Looking For
- A successfully completed IT degree or comparable qualification.
- In-depth development experience in at least one high-level programming language, such as Java.
- A strong interest in learning and applying new programming languages, for example Golang.
- Experience in the complete software development process for scalable services in a cloud environment, including IaC, Testing, Refactoring, CI/CD, and Monitoring.
Nice to Have
- Experience with technologies such as AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Vault, Consul, and/or Packer.
