Design and implement core components of a large-scale, low-latency advertising engine that processes massive query volumes in real time. You'll focus on building efficient, reliable systems while continuously refining performance and resource usage across distributed environments.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain software modules that support extreme throughput and minimal response times
- Optimize system performance at every level, from code efficiency to infrastructure utilization
- Ensure solutions are scalable, fault-tolerant, and suitable for global deployment
- Build automated tests to verify both correctness and performance of new features
- Evaluate emerging technologies for real-world production use
- Create monitoring tools to track system behavior and diagnose issues in production
- Improve existing development and operational tooling to increase team effectiveness
What We Look For
- Strong programming skills with a deep understanding of system architecture
- Familiarity with hardware, software, and algorithmic interactions in complex systems
- Solid grasp of core internet protocols including DNS, HTTP, and cookie mechanisms
- Experience designing concurrent and distributed applications across multiple levels of scale
- Proven ability to monitor production systems and extract actionable insights
- Skill in analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions
- Knowledge of challenges and best practices in high scalability and high availability systems
- Fluency in English and Polish at C1 level
