TSMG is hiring a Driver\Data Collector

About the Role

This role involves driving assigned routes to collect data using handheld devices and following specific protocols to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

Responsibilities

  • Operate company vehicles safely along designated routes
  • Collect location-specific data using digital tools
  • Follow precise instructions for data entry and validation
  • Report any discrepancies or issues encountered during collection
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and routes completed
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly before each assignment
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Communicate with dispatch regarding schedule changes
  • Complete data collection within assigned timeframes
  • Handle data securely and maintain confidentiality
  • Respond to field inquiries from supervisors
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections
  • Submit daily reports summarizing collected data
  • Adapt to changing weather and road conditions
  • Follow updated collection protocols as issued
  • Ensure battery-powered devices are fully charged
  • Park and operate vehicle in tight urban environments
  • Interact professionally with the public when necessary
  • Escalate technical issues with data devices promptly
  • Maintain awareness of local geography and navigation tools

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GIS or mapping software
  • Prior work in transportation or logistics
  • Familiarity with data validation processes
  • Previous use of fleet tracking systems

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Work Arrangement

Field-based with variable schedules including weekends
