Shape strategy through data — As an eCommerce Analyst, you'll transform raw metrics into meaningful insights that directly influence how client brands grow on Amazon. Working remotely within Australian business hours, you'll play a central role in diagnosing performance trends, projecting financial outcomes, and ensuring data integrity across multiple accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Design and manage recurring reports in Google Sheets to monitor revenue, conversion rates, advertising efficiency, and catalog health.
- Build and refine financial models including 12-month forecasts, budget comparisons, and scenario planning for major sales events.
- Identify performance patterns by analyzing key indicators such as ROAS, average selling price, and cost per acquisition, then recommend data-backed actions.
- Ensure product listings remain accurate and effective, supporting promotional timelines in collaboration with brand teams.
- Streamline internal workflows by developing standard operating procedures and automating repetitive tasks using advanced formulas or scripting tools.
What We’re Looking For
- Deep familiarity with Google Sheets or Excel, including functions like XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, FILTER, QUERY, and SUMIFS, along with experience in pivot tables and conditional formatting.
- Proven ability to interpret financial data, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- A structured mindset — you naturally organize processes to improve consistency and scalability.
- Experience troubleshooting data issues and maintaining high accuracy under tight timelines.
- Self-motivation to manage workload independently, identify roadblocks early, and drive improvements without oversight.
Technology & Environment
You’ll work primarily in Google Sheets with advanced formula logic, automation scripts, and Apps Script. This is a fully remote role requiring availability during Australian business hours, with a start time around 10 AM Sydney time.
