About the Role

As an Engineer II in the Photo Operations department, you will support advanced semiconductor manufacturing by maintaining and optimizing photolithography processes in a high-volume production environment. Your work will focus on process monitoring, quality assurance, and continuous improvement to ensure consistent output and device performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine process monitoring, including SPC trend analysis and change point detection, to maintain process stability
  • Perform data analysis to identify root causes of process deviations and support corrective actions
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues using established procedures and data-driven decision-making
  • Support yield enhancement initiatives by identifying defectivity patterns and implementing improvements
  • Collaborate with process, equipment, and manufacturing teams to refine SOPs and OCAPs
  • Participate in qualification activities for photolithography processes and tools
  • Apply LEAN methodologies to streamline operations and increase efficiency
  • Respond to abnormal events and support rapid recovery of production flow
  • Interface with internal teams to resolve quality concerns and improve process margins

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Academic or practical experience must include coursework, research, or internships involving:

  • Programming in Python, Java, and C
  • Object-Oriented programming principles
  • Version control using Git for collaborative code management
  • Data cleaning, data mining, and statistical modeling techniques
  • Querying and managing data in SQL and NoSQL databases
